Artist Statement
As a new, emerging artist, I am still in the process of finding the genere that is my "niche". So far, I've decided to specialize in portraiture and medical illustration since the majority of my work from college and the majority of my spare time has been spent on portraits and the human figure. My other profession is in the field of physical therapy, which lends itself to medical illustration, especially about anatomy.
My mediums of choice are graphite and charcoal. Fairly recently, however, I have been seriously pursuing my skills in watercolor, acrylic and ink. I have also been exploring non-traditional mediums to draw/paint with.
I believe my art should be taken in as a whole, since I don't have a well established focus. Understand the whole body of my work, then you can understand me, as an artist. Focus on one genere, then you will miss who I am.
